We provide members with the option of visiting our projects in the Gambia as if they were going to meet old friends. We meet guests on arrival at the airport - this way they miss the long wait in the coaches - So as soon as they emerge from customs their holiday begins.

We arrange private and totally individual trips to anywhere to meet the young people our members are helping to sponsor. We can go by foot, by bike, by public transport, by private hire car or by self drive. GTS hosts provide the friendly advice and local knowledge and language when necessary to make your trip away from the hotel something that you run rather than an experience that runs you.

Banjul, Brikama or Basse, in other words near or far.

Some of the most memorable experiences are less than 10 kilometres from the tourist resorts, you don't have to go far to be in a very different world to the hotels and the Europe type resorts.

Taking members out helps to fund the GTS wages bill for the whole year and as more members do go out with GTS we are able to create more full time employment.

GTS is NOT offering a discount tour service - it is providing members with a good service, with no haggling, no hassle and no pressure, just a relaxing enjoyable day out with friends and no come backs.

And at the end of the day, enjoy one of the best and cheapest meals in Gambia in the new Members Zone at Kololi - or enjoy a more commercial venue at GTS in Senegambia and choose from the Bar Menu or the excellent A la Carte in our Senegambia roof top restaurant.

Tourism in Gambia has developed dramatically since 1997 and we no longer have dedicated hosts, but at GTS Kololi we have versatile staff who can take visitors out to visit GETSUK schools & projects and Helen in the office can arrange visits to meet sponsored children at their schools or in their homes.

A charge is made to cover expenses and the time taken.
