It now costs 3 Dalasi (2002) to send a postcard anywhere in the world from Gambia. The equivalent in the UK is 2nd class post at 19p so Gambian post at 12.5p is a bit cheaper, unless you send your mail from the airport at Banjul it might take a long time to arrive.

We have received letters and cards in the UK 4 months after they were posted in Gambia and the post the other way round can take at least 4 weeks, so don't expect next day delivery.
