Omar, has set up a Fair Trading business, using GTS as his link in Gambia. His first delivery of drums arrived some weeks ago and Omar wanted tio visit to check things out.

GTS is now helping and advising other businesses setting up in Gambia and other charities are coming to GTS for help and advice.
At £12.50 a year it represents excellent value and for research work GTS charges just £1.50 an hour plus travel expenses, normally less than £1 in a day
If you think GTS might be able to help you, please contact us. All the income earned goes towards increasing the employment of Gambians in full time jobs and supporting educational and training projects

Hi and thanks for getting the 2POC shop up on the website.
I've now returned from Gambia and had a really wonderful time.
Kab was fantastic and arranged a super night on the Saturday with the drum and dancing programme, topped off by one of my friends playing the Djembe up on stage.
I went to see the drum factory with Kabs and am satisfied that the owner is someone we can deal with.
Other friends of mine organised a boat trip on the river and camping at Sangyang.
We finished the holiday with our last meal at GTS - the food again was fantastic. I have to say it was one on the best holidays me and my friends ever had.
In a recent Email Release Omar said of GTS
2POC Ltd has teamed up with a local charity in The Gambia called Gambia Tourist Support (GTS). The charity has been established in The Gambia for the past eight years and does some very admirable work. Not only does GTS currently employ 20 local people full time through its restaurant and local tours, it is also, through its membership, currently sponsoring over 170 children in full time education.
2POC Ltd teamed up with GTS because of what it saw as being one of the most ethically based charities it had come across, large or small.
GTS provided research and logistical support to 2POC Ltd at their hourly rates. They have sought out a drum factory that were able supply 2POC Ltd with fairly traded Djembe drums following criteria set by my company; they have also facilitated the transportation to the shipping company.
