The Butchers would not be out of place in any English market town, although Driss, the owner may not wish to swap the warmth of the Gambia for the English climate.

Walk through the door and you could be in a good delicatessen, just about anywhere. The meats look attractive, the pastries delicate and tempting. The butchers must be the choice for any expat in The Gambia.

There is a small area with one or two tables so you can stop for a drink or a snack.
