During my trip in February 2000, there was an art exhibition at the French Alliance Centre on Pipeline Road outside Serrakunda. The children at the school and their teacher had put on the exhibition to raise money for the school.

We arranged to visit the school having agreed that GTS would photograph some originals, colour reproduce them and sell them to raise money for the school. Unfortunately we missed each other on several occasions.

It can be like that in The Gambia - almost no one turns up when and where they say they will - we will catch him next visit and hopefull have a tour of the school.
