with the old and in with the new
Visitors a couple of years ago may remember Jembi Fever opposite the taxi
park in Kololi. Closed for two years it has been refurbished and offers
a new restaurant, bar and disco.
The location could not be better, and as Kololi becomes the centre of the holiday industry this new venture just cannot fail.
Above the premises of the Standard Charter Bank the tiled stairs lead you to the balcony bar and restaurant overlooking busy and bustling Kololi.
There is seating for very large numbers in this part covered part open area. The menu offers a good choice of grilled dishes and all the salad food is washed and prepared using bottled water so you can eat it with confidence.
The Disco area leads off the balcony and has its own bar, when we visited the owners were still waiting for their entertainments liscense but the atmosphere was already there. (Same was true in August 2001 - hopefully they will get their paper work before the start of the season in November)
GTS members will get a 50% discount off the entry fee of 50 Dalasi and if they have had a meal in the restraunt in the evening they will have FREE entry into the Club.
