Gambia Tourist Support - Advert

Thank you, thank you

Since running the imminent closure page, 7 friends of GTS have very kindly made donations that mean the staff can be paid at the end of September.

Some donors have asked for us not to reveal their identity.

I know who you are and I can't thank you all enough. I'm rubbish at asking for money but your generosity has saved August & September from being a nightmare.

New readers please look at our 2003 Gifts Galore page and help by making a donation to rebuild our funds after the 2003 rainy season.

We have now added PayPal to the site for making secure payments to GTS from anywhere in the world.

The donors names will be added to the gifts hat and hopefully walk away with a bottle af champagne or a holiday to Ireland, or one of the other great gifts we have had donated to GTS during the year.

With an upturn in the tourist trade at the end of September, all the staff at GTS hope that the new 2004 season will be a busy one with lots of tourists to The Gambia. They all look forward to seeing you at the Bar and Restaurant or at the GTS Office.

I have heared, that at last the TDA letter confirming the GTS charitable operation Gambia has been passed to Mansa and that now all the paper work is finally completed so that GTS can become a registered Gambian charity. (This was not infact the case and GTS still awaits the final paperwork currently being held up by the TDA) Once received, it should only be a matter of weeks before we have our registration papers that will allow us to have an electricity meter installed - so hopefully sometime soon the GTS bar and restaurant will return to normal.
