It has taken longer than expected but almost exactly one month after arriving in Gambia GTS has now taken over the local restaurant where we started 4 years ago.

Half of the original single story building has been removed and the rest is being refurbished as the office, and reception centre of GTS and GETS in Gambia - the local line number will remain the same 4462476.

The removal of the old building opens up our roof top restaurant and gives GTS a much larger frontage, making the existing two story building open to view for all.

In early January the Bar and Restaurant will be fully open again and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at night. GTS has acquired a name for value and service and apart from Fatou who is currently travelling all the old staff are there to greet you.

Over the next couple of years more changes will take place - but we sincerely hope that there will be no further closures affecting our service to GTS and GETS members as well as ordinary members of the public.

Thank you all for your loyal support over the last couple of years, it has not been easy remaining open after the un-expected loss of the original Dardeema, but the GTS staff made it happen and now we hope that the anticipated increase in customers will provide them with the rewards that they have earned.
