No one, especially Ebou is expecting his foot to be cured, but some knowledge of what has happened and how possible it is to make Ebou walking more comfortable is a hope we all have at GTS.

I met Ebou and discussed his future - at 15, Ebou is a bright very alert young student, unable to run about with others Ebou has discovered reading and learning as a way of coping with his situation.

When Ebou takes his exams (in two years) he hopes his grades will be sufficient to take him to university so he can study medicine and become a doctor. If GTS does nothing else, we hope that a fund opened now will provide the funding for Ebou to become a doctor, the costs are approx £500 a year - the course is 7 years.

We are looking forward to donations however small, to ensure the funding is available for Ebou's education.
