Featured in the London Evening Standards weekend review magazine as the CD of the week - and after hearing it - this is no surprise
This is a CD full of great West African sounds and like Ifang Bondi it grows on you as you hear it a few times. It is a shame that there are not more bands featured like the excellent Dance Hall Masters, Rebellion and Born Africa all Gambian bands of distinction, but unheard in Europe.
Simon Broughton who writes the review describes this CD as one of the greatest sounds of the world - this is available on EMI/Hemisphere 5437132 and Siomon is right -" Mady's music smiles out of the speakers".
