in UK For me, one of the most pleasant aspects of Kabs visit to Wales was the chance to see Delyth and Dai again.
They managed rare event of catching me on the other side of the camera
While there I caught Alun with his eyes closed, he agreed to- help GTS with the sponsorship co-ordination.

I will let Kabs add most of the text, but here are some of the pictures from the two week visit to Wales that gave Kabs a taste of history and dressing up as well as a brilliant introduction to Wales in the company of Dai and Delyths grown up kids, who took Kabs round with them notjust playing pool, but horse riding and visiting the local night spots.
Definitely most distinguished and looking like an 18th Century gentleman, he is pictured here with Amy, in this cameo portrait. The moving force behind the invitation of Kabs to Wales was Delyth's youngest daughter - Emma, shown here in the Gambia with Kabs and Lamin 'Rasta' at the GTS Bar and Restaurant.
Not everything was unusual at all, the blacksmith's skills unusual now in UK is still a much practised art in Gambia and the huts that seem out of stoneage history are still the most practical type of building in rural Gambia, where sadly they are being replaced by inferior concrete block houses.
The picture on the right is down a cave, and although there are no caverns like this in gambia - Kabs is a skilled well constructor so being many metres below the surface is not strange for him or Dai, who was a miner for many years before the pit closures during the 80's. There are just a couple more images - one of Delyth, Amy and Joules doing the car boot sale, that raised so much for the Bakoteh school.
Kabs left Swansea on September 13th and headed north to Dumbarton just outside Galagow where he was the guest of Father Kenny's congregation - Linda will send photo's of the stay in Scotland. 5 Top
