The idea for GTS started after our first visit to Gambia in 1997 The GTS website was first published in 1999 GTS moved onto the Bijilo Road in Kololi in 2001 GTS considerd UK charity status in 2001 but did not have the UK personnel, time or funding to proceed May's Paper Recycling Skills Project (PSRP) registered in Gambia in 2002 With May's help GTS started the registration process in late 2002 GTS Gambia Charity Constitution - April 2003 As GTS obtains its charity registration, I will publish items about the GTS Board members, our meetings, minutes etc GTS ordinary members do not have voting rights in the GTS charity registered in Gambia, but if you would like to become a board member of GTS Gambia and help support our work there -please contact me by using the email link in the left hand column. 5 Top
