Fundraising and GETSuk National Reps - Adviser
Shirley Britton, is our elected trustee for this and also a very active fundraiser herself. GETSuk now has a network of fundraising reps around the UK raising amounts from £25 a year to over £1000 a year for the charity.

Since becoming a registered UK charity in 2005, our work in Gambia has grown significantly along with our commitments - so our need for funds has outgrown the original funding methods of GTS. If you can help raise funds, please contact Shirley for details.

Curriculum Development Email: Since Jo - (Alun Evans) parted company with GETSUK, during 2006 all curriculum work is continuing to be developed by Mr Cliff Parfit.

Shipping
We currently have no regular shipping facility to Gambia, other than to take charity items in trustees and members luggage. In August 2006 Francis sent a container at his own expense and included a number of boxes of charity items donated by John & Kaye Skingsley and Ang Thomas and Rose Holder.

Helen Touray a long standing GTS member volunteered during 2007 to come to Gambia as our charity office administrator and during 2008/9 made a massive difference - Helen has agreed to continue this role during 2009/10 and attended the GETSuk 2009 AGM in Shrewsbury.
