PICTURE GALLERY
Some of the 'boys' you'll meet at Happy Corner, running the shops and being friendly.
Hotel policy since 1999 means they must close at 8.00pm, this has affected their trade and the Happy Corner atmosphere !!

Making Happy Tea is a Gambian tradition and a Happy Corner ritual.

The boys her are the 'originals' many have now had to leave due to ever increasing rents and fewer tourists.

New boys have arrived but Happy corner is not quite the same.
