Tim Mawer and Lesley Headley are tireless on raising the funds to construct the Sports Hall at Youna to fund coaching trips for the students of Youna and Tujering as well as obtaining the equipment required to re-introduce Badminton to Gambia.

Tim is close to securing funding for thousands of shuttle cocks and badminton equipment for this project and now hopes to spend 4 weeks in Gambia during August for intensive training before the hall is opened by the President later this year.

Val and her daughter Jeannie send these pictures recording the progress back in April and I think now the hall is roofed and the inner tiling is in progress.

It is hard to gauge the size of this building from a picture - but Jennie has done her best - GTS is proud to have helped with the administration of this project and has project managed the construction from foundations to completion.
