Lamin and Fatou Badjie are both brother and sister of the same father, but different mothers, as their father married two wives. They are both living with extended family and are looked after by their grandmother who can no longer work, so finances are difficult.

Both their sponsorships came through Janet Daniels and his school report will be sent to her at the end of the term, which is the normal GTS procedure with sponsorships.

His favourite subjects are English Language and Mathematics and his hobbies are reading and playing football. The subjects he is taking are English, Maths, General Science, Social and Environment studies, quantitative, verbal aptitude, letter writing and composition.
