Fatou and Lamin Badgie are both brothers and sisters of the same father, but different mothers, as their father was married two wives. Both are living with their extended relations and are looked after by their grandmother. The grandmother can no longer work, therefore, finances are difficult.

All their sponsorships came through Janet Daniels. Fatou is a hard working child in school and always passes her exams.
