Adama was born on 18th August 1986.

She is attending Institute of Continuing Education Senior Secondary School, in grade 10 this year. She studies English Language, Mathematics, General science, cost Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Geography and Computer studies.

According to her class Teacher, she contributes immensely during lessons in class and performed well in her last term examination. Adama hopes to become an accountant in the future.

Her hobbies are reading and always participating in school debates.

She travels 30 minutes to school by local taxi.

Sadly for Adama, both of her parents died when she was 8 years old.

She has got 3 brothers and 4 sisters, 2 brothers and 3 sisters died later in a food poison epidemic few years back.

She is now staying with Kabs, as they are relatives of extended family system.

GTS started to support her in June 2002. Her remaining brother is now looking after their farmland at Cassamance in the southern part of Senegal at the moment, they are living with other relatives in the village because they are relatively poor.
