Multi Purpose Sports Block at Youna
Lesley Hedley is embarking on a GES sports initiative after a very successful visit to Gambia wher with a colleague and 2 young volunteers they introduced Badminton into Youna and Tujering schools - Lesley is now raising funds to build a - this initiative will allow GES to develop gap and working holiday placements for people with a sporting enthusiasm.
As new projects are developed they will be added to the projects Index.

Adult Skills Centre at Kersering
GTS has been negotiating with the village committee of Kersering to join them in developing a partially started Adult Skills Centre in the village. Adult Education and training is as important as child education because Gambians desperately need proper jobs to stimulate the economy, at present many people needing wok done will simply not employ Gambians because many offering their labour are mainly unskilled in the simple tasks like building, rendering, painting, etc.
