has two major projects in Gambia
The Bakoteh Nursery school and the Curriculum development project to improve
the delivery of teaching.
GTS
is a registered Gambian Charity No: 362/2003
It is responsible to GES it implements & administers and controls
all GES projects in Gambia
GTS also administers the projects of a growing number of other charitable ventures in Gambia including the
Dumbarton
Nursery
The Essau School
The Kingfisher Trust
Youna Sports Hall
The Bakoteh Library
& Numerous private Sponsorships

A prize draw was help at the AGM and raised £72 - the main prize was a bottle of Champagne donated through the CLA Gamefair and box of chocolates donated by Carolyn and Naomi Taylor - it was won by Martin Tanner who sponsors the employment of Yankuba one of our most popular GTS host in Gambia
A bottle of wine was anomously donated and was won by Mr Nick Middleton
A small display of Gambian pictures were on display along with press cuttings and Shirley Britton had her 'Buy a brick' campaign information and sold another few bricks to raise money for our school and teacher centre project.
The meeting represented another
major step forward in our plans to improve the delivery of education to
nursery students in The Gambia
A nunber of offers of support were made to help at a range of levels -
we look forward to building on our achievements with the help of all present.
