GTS is currently discussing the possability of helping the set up of Morocco Tourist Support, based on similar lines to GTS.
It would be totally separate, but would carry the idea into a new 3rd world country.
This would be specifically in the Berber region, where the locals have similar problems to the locals in Gambia.
Just an idea at present but we hope it will be launched during 2001.

I contacted Doug via a friend who regularly visits Morocco and recommended him as the best agent for flights and insurance.
Gambia is not currently on his list other than using Sabina Airways and flying via Belgium, but at around £550, this is not really a viable option other than for extended stays, as this can be an open ticket for you to return within 6 months.
FOR INSURANCE his rates are excellent and a sample are given
below and are totally inclusive with no hidden extras
Upto 8 days £30
To 10 days £32
To 17 days £36
To 24 days £41
To 31 days £44
The policy is the 'Span the World' Insurance backed by Cornhill
On an Annual Insurance (Normal restrictions on any one length of stay apply) the rate is £103.40 - This is actually not as good as DirectLine who do Annual cover at £78.29 and you get a 5% discount, if you book via their web page at www.directline.com
GTS however do not get any donation from Flight Path so this is not so good for funds towards our educational sponsorship drive.
