We visited this hotel on our first visit the views are spectacular, it has suffered years of different owners and now looks like a sad leftover of a colonial past.

Almost the best that can be said of it, is that is is very close to the Golf course and beautifully situated for the beach. We were escorted to reception by a large security guard and escorted back off the site like criminals. The high barbed wire fence reminded us of the days before 1994 when tourist stories tell of curfews and armed soldiers patrolling round the hotels.

If you fancy it, bed and breakfast is 700 dalasis for a double room, or 525D for a single, I suspect there are always vacancies.
