GTS members Tony and Rebecca Delahaye, alerted us to the existence of Frogs, Friends of Gambian Schools

Its purpose to provide Primary School equipment to schools in The Gambia, to date FROGS has helped 56 schools.

For the last 3 years FROGS has collected school related items and filled containers, this year '2000' a 40' and 20 foot container will be sent this September.

FROGS membership is £5 a family and they are always pleased to receive items of use in Gambian schools.

GTS was offered 30 bicycles but we could only fit 15 into our container, so the rest went to FROGS.

Although Frogs usually try to have a representative from the UK in The Gambia when their containers arrive, the Gambian side is dealt with by Yaharr Jallow who arranges the distribution etc.

This year she visited the UK and met many of FROGS UK helpers.
