The Senegambia and Kairaba Hotels have beach sitting areas of their own sandbagged up above the main beach and patrolled by security guards, (August 2001 - somewhat battered by the seas)

To the right about 50 metres there is the excellent SeaView Beach Bar & Restaurant. It is open from 9 am till late at night and as well as providing cold drinks snacks and meals of African and European types

The SeaView have several regular evening events: 7.30 - 10pm

MONDAYS - There is an evening Oriental Buffet with live music.
WEDNESDAY - African Buffet with snake charming and fire eating displays
FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS - African Reggae nights
