The house is situated in Brusubi, this is a new area about 3 kilometers from the Senegambia area, it is directly situated at the new Combo Coastal Highway and just a couple hundreds of meters from the sea, it is very easy to reach with bushtaxi for about 4 dalasis from the Senegambia area, it is a prestige object from the Government and has paved roads, streetlights and the whole day running water and electricity, at night the Gambian army keeps watch. Our house is just 50 meters away from a grocery store which sells bread, lemonade and simple meals. Our neighbours opposite are English people who are living there permanently, the area is clean and quiet.
The house is on a 600 square meters property, surrounded by a beautifully decorated fence and has a garden with small flowering plants and young fruittrees, a four meter wide gate makes sure that you can park your car safely in the garden, in the back of the garden is a small house for our staff, we have a watchman at day and a nother watchman at night and once a week a cleaning lady.
Our house has two large bedrooms with two double beds and ventilators and an iron and an ironing table for your clothes, two bathrooms with running hot and cold water, a hall with a fire alarm, a completely furnished kitchen with refrigerator, gascooker and a microwave. We have a dining room and a living room with seats for 7 people, our house is decorated with African art and everything is completely new.
It is possible to rent our house by week or by month which is cheaper, pets are welcome, we prefer to rent the house to families but single man and women are also welcome under certain conditions. The price is very compatible and maybe the best that you can get!

Comments to GTS
Roger has been in contact with GTS for almost as long as GTS has existed and was one of our first web site visitors and contributors.
GTS is delighted that Roger is offering this house to GTS members at a 10% discount making it an excellent place to stay close to the holiday area but far enough away to feel like the real Gambia.
The charges before GTS discount are 100 Euros a week or 300 Euros a month. It is a sad reflection on many visitors to the Gambia that most lodges now have to charge a deposit refundable if there is no damage. Roger and Bintou charge a 100 Euro deposit for couples or families and a 200 Euro deposit to singles.
GTS is happy to hold the deposit for members using the property, but all booking arrangements should be made using the contact methods given by Roger at the bottom of the left hand column.
Members will need to give Roger their GTS membership card number to obtain the discount after he checks their details with us. This is as much a protection for you as it is for Roger and Bintou.
As members, GTS can pick you up at the airport and take you to the compound as part of your FREE arrival pickup service.
The pictures show the outside and inside of the house, which looks beautiful and is really for genuine visitors to enjoy and not abuse.
