This season GTS is making a more distinct division between the Bar and the Restaurant, we have introduced a bar games area shaded with gazeboos where you will find a snooker table, table tennis, and darts as well as giant JENGA, We hope you will enjoy these activities during the days and stay later after your meals to enjoy our Open air bar area. Since 2000, the GTS Restaurant has been open from early morning to late at night and is now set for a new year and a new 2010 tourist season. We are very easy to find along the same road as the Sarges Hotel, (was the Tafbel) the Aquarius Club and Scala restaurant, just opposite the sign for the Golf course at the Kololi Beach Club. We are the last restaurant on your way to the Bijilo Forest Park and the first one on your way back. The GTS restaurant is so different because of the atmosphere, and the principles behind its creation, but first and foremost we serve great food at reasonable prices. We are delighted to say that our customers visit us many times during their stay and we hope that will continue and that you will join them when on holiday in Gambia. Our menu is full of choices at competetive
prices and our special dishes are designed to bring you the best of Gambian
ingredients, cooked in the most delicious ways, but still at affordable
prices. We serve tea and coffee all day as well as an extensive range of cooled soft drinks and of course Gambia's own JULBREW GTS has been developing sustainable employment for several years, so we were delighted that the restaurant has not only survived eight seasons with many of our original staff. (Sadly, since 2005 we have had to close at the end of each season, because of losses sustained - there are simply not enough tourists from the Start of May to the middle of October and our location away from the main Senegambia Road is just 300m too far in the rainy season's downfalls, heat and humidity. In January 2010 members will have the added choice of eating & drinking at the GTS Kololi Members Zone - see table leaflets about this or call into the GETS office if you are not a member and would like to visit GTS Kololi during your stay. The members zone will specialise in West African food as well as International choices and will also run a set 4 course menu booked in advance. GTS will be open in Senegambia at the end of October
2009, please come and try us out - if
you are new to Gambia AND a very warm welcome to old friends.
