This
amazing photo of Banjul's commercial area and docks, really clearly shows
the grid pattern of roads that dominate Banjul.
The stretch of white sand ends at the ferry terminal for passengers visiting
the north bank at Barra. The docks are capable of berthing large ocean
going liners as well as container shipping.
