At GTS we have heard of Europeans cheating Gambians and Europeans cheating Europeans - We had the Dutch couple who took a picture from GTS saying they would send the money as soon as they got home, they never did. And the UK couple who we helped and supported when they were arrested for possessing forged money - to prevent them going to jail we paid their fine of over £100 - they never sent us back the money.

Over a year ago we rented our Gambian compound out to an English woman, name AE. She had two young children whom where also in The Gambia for 4 months with her.

She misused the staff on our compound, for example getting them to wash the clothes of all her 5 Gambian boyfriends and her own family of three on a daily basis without paying the lady as she should have.

They made a mess out of the house, gave away our towels, allowed the children to make drawings on the freshly painted walls and then left without paying and provided a false address.

During the 4 months she decided to take a young cat as a toy for her kids, never thinking about the consequences, the cat is still in our compound.

We found out that she is living in London and we tried to get our money and some for the damage caused by using a bailiff. Even the bailiff was scared to visit her at her home address, the doors where barricaded, the bailiff felt threatened by her boyfriends and we never saw the money.

Please put A E on your blacklist, don't rent a house to her, unless you don't care what happens to your property...
