The Gambia has Postal and Telephone services as well as Radio & some TV, there are no mail deliveries but mail can go to post boxes

Stamps for letters and cards to the UK cost 10 Dalasi and are sold widely.
Postcards vary in price from 15D upwards - Mail boxes have to be searched for, they are not on every corner.
GTS will post cards and letters for you from our Office in Kololi. (FREE to GTS members)

Incoming mail can be slow and unreliable BUT, Email and Internet is now widely available ariound the country, fasteset connections are at the Elton Fuel Service Stations that have Internet Cafes

Members can arrange before leaving the UK to have Emails sent to our office in Kololi

Quite apart from communicating with the world, the stamps in the Gambia are a collectors delight, so philatelists take note, GTS can arrange to have any stamps sent either franked or un-franked.

There is a special Stamp collectors 'window' at the Post Office in Banjul, just down from the entrance to Albert Market, where individual stamps and collections can be purchased.
