Of course the trip back to the UK is always enjoyable as it allows us to catch up with the family, many of whom have supported GTS since we started back in 1997

My mother has suffered very poor health after being over prescribed steroids some years ago, her sight is almost gome and she her skin has thinned to just a few layers and is constantly itching. Despite thi sshe remaions incredibly cheerful and we are looking forward to seeing her soon again in the New Year.

My step father Peter who has supported me since I was 12 and now supports GTS as the hon Membership Secretary her in the UK.
Mary and Alan Pickles, who through their church group fund St Peter's Nursery just outside Serekunda, Alan helps with taking resources out by begging space in a container for us as well a being a regular visitor to us in Gambia.

On the GameFair Theme & on the right of the picture my former right hand in the exhibitor department, Chesca, we worked extra ordinarily well together, for what turned out to be my most enjoyable 4 years of work - Thanks largely to Chesca's help and support .
Stephen (on the left) replaced me for the 2007 cancelled show.
The small unofficial stream on the far right was drain off from the site, after the worst wet weather in any July on record and in living memory.

Owen's graduation was a glorious day in all ways, the sun was shining, it was good to see Brunel University, the cremony was excellent and it was nice to see Helen and Jess, Owen close friend during College.

After a day away from the Gamefair site we returned up north to more rain at Harewood.

It was niced to see Snip my UK Jack Russel now very well cared for by Uncle Ted, our lucky mascot christmas present bear full of character and the Peach Tree Restaurant near the Abbey in Shrewsbury where we met up with Aunty Eve, Uncle Ted, my cousin Clare and Simon her partner.


Aunty Eve and my mother & Peter have always been a major supporters of GTS and it was nice to see Eve and Clare this visit

A wonderful visit - shame about the GF cancellation but hopefully it will be an even better show next year at Blemheim, the shows 50th anniversary
