GTS News
Page Aimee and Coka, sorry this has taken so long - as you know a whole load of water has passed under the bridge since you left Gambia and GTS. We miss you loads and look forward to seeing you again either in the UK or in Gambia. We all hope that the Root of Rythm does stunningly well and I look foirward to getting news of the FIRST WORLD TOUR. Filly and I just went to Chester Zoo, they do stunning work in conservation around the world BUT the highlight was a South African drum and dance group who just happened to be there. It so reminded me of you two so I found it spooky to have an email from you waiting that evening. Love you all Comments to GTS |
Aimee emailed me in 2006 about The ROOTS of RYTHM website but for a whole set of technical reasons I was unable to do the updating of the GTS or GETS sites and so Aimee's link got missed. So I'm now putting that right. Aimee just wanted a link but that simply isn't enough - Aimee & Coka worked their butts off for GTS for two years, they were 100% motivated and when I heard they were marrying I could not think of a more suitable couple. Aimee
struggled hard to get Coka to Canada and there they set up BéréSanké Percussion
The ROOTS of RYTHM Their web site is excellent and knowing them both so well, I can assure you that everything they do will be with that spark of enthusiasm and zeal that will make it a success and more than professional. They now have a little girl Masirie and Aimee, as always multitasking has a job as a travel agent and is always sending me news items about Eco and responsible tourism, as I get back into the full swing of web updating again - I will post a special section on 'Aimee's Eco Tourism' In the meantime check out their site click the splash screen below 5 Top
