The new charge of £15 for individual members and £50 for family members was introduced on 1st January 2007. Join GTS Now
Rising prices in Gambia and the UK have forced us to make this increase.
The services offered by GTS to members continues to rise. The GTS Bar and Restaurant is now considered one of the best in terms of quality and price anywhere in the tourist resorts and members get a 10% discount on any food bills at the Restaurant, which is now fully open from mid October to Early May each year and will operate a bar and snack service during the rainy season, from May 2008.
The GTS Bar has introduced 'happy hour' prices on drinks for two hours in the afternoon every day of the week and now has leisure activities (Table Tennis, Billiards, Table Football and Darts and Table games)
Our FREE pickup service from the airport - generally gets
members to their hotels well ahead of the rush from the laden coaches
and avoids waiting in a crowded bus at the airport UNTIL the last tourist
gets through custom control.
Your holiday with GTS starts as soon as you arrive.
Accommodation for members of GTS and GETSUK is now available at our Kololi compound. Each year the standards are being enhanced and for 2007 - 2008, we are able to offer Ensuite serviced double rooms at £80 a week. (Volunteers get a 50% reduction).
GTS offers members the opportunity to explore Gambia in their own small group with their own GTS host, who acts as your friend and companion all at a pre agreed price. This allows you the freedom to get to see the really local Gambia as well as our projects.
GTS offers members advice before they make their visit, during their visit and after their visit. Our 10 years of operating in Gambia has given us a great deal of experience, which is available to you as a member.
